Not bad

Yeah, while you keep it very simple, you have a nice melody going that just sticks in your head. There could be some more deeper sounds in the bass-less parts, but that's forgivable. I just wish there were some vocals in this as well, no matter if just distorted effects or actual singing, but it would give the whole thing some more range.

Not really my style, but tons better than what I've made when I used FL back then ^^

Keep it up.

Psycedelic responds:

Well, Im not so into singin xD

I appreciate the love, and you gave me an fair score. But the quality is so shit that I deserve 0.

Live long, and prosper. xD

Thrashin'

Man, I'd love to rip it up on that track of yours..but sadly I'm much more of a rhythm guitar player than lead.... :P

Anyway, seriously good, thrashy backing track which has more than enough of it's own merit.

Very tight playing as well, really enjoyed it.

Good shit, as always :)

PS: Why didn't my vote count for more? That score is way too low.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks muchly man. 0 voters thrash the shit out of my stuff, because they hate me. haha. I guess. Ah well. I know what you mean about ripping it up. I couldn't do any leads that were much use, for this. But...I'm about to upload it anyways.
Thanks as always for your review, and support dude. You kick ass.\m/

Quite faithful to the original

While you simplified a few parts of the riffs and the solo, it's still quite faithful to the original sound - well done man. Especially the solo sounds a tad different but not worse in any way.

It's also on In Flames' best album (I'm probably in the minority here, but who gives a fuck) and therefore I probably like it more than I should ;)

Very well done.

anmarthi responds:

Glad you liked it. I learned the song using a tablature, and not by ear. That probably explains the diffrences from the original. Maybe I'll do it by ear and correct tuning some time in the future :P

Amongst the Catacombs of Demigod?

Yeah, really sounds a lot like a mix of old Nile/new Behemoth - I dig it, really nice and probably a preview for one of the best songs I've heard of yours so far :)

Can't wait to hear the full version! Get done with it!

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks man. I can't say I was influenced much by them, as I haven't listened to either in a long ass time. But thanks like fuck, for the comparison!

I'll be done this soon. :D Thanks for the review, man!\m/

Not bad

That totally sounds like a Digitech Death Metal pedal. I had that one a long time ago and frankly, it's only usable for raw black metal, haha.

I agree with you Kidd, it really isn't as good as your other collab stuff. But still not horrible at all, your playing is a tad sloppy at times but that's just a minor issue, as the vocals are, while quite unclear in the mix, very enjoyable.

Keep it up, and finish the technical stuff already :P

Kiddmeizter responds:

Yeah my tone was craaaaap.
Vocals are good :P

Hahahaha, I'll Try, It'll take a while since all the pressure is on me, Because I write the riffs , then he does drums to 'em , Like Gorguts did.

Tell me one thing

Did Lemmy fuck with Tom Araya...and you were born? ^^

Seriously, you really sound like a crossbreed between those two (although more on the Araya side). Not my favourite kind of vocals, but still fairly well done.

Some of the riffs sound like a crossbreed of Divine Intervention/God Hates Us All Slayer with a very digital sounding distortion pedal in front. Could also work in an industrial context.

Overall, pretty good, nice work!

Schleif responds:

haha, why thank you my good man =p. and yep, thats how i was born. they just thought it'd be best to keep it a secret, who knows what the media would say. thanks for the review!

Neat riffage

Some very good riffs there man, it totally reminds me of recent Destruction releases. Especially the All Hell Breaks Loose/Antichrist era. I dig that a lot :)

The drums are a little loud but sound good on their own. I can't wait to hear this in a full song. Keep rocking!

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks a lot man. The full music is done, minus the solo. I reverted back to my "original" drums and dumped these. The snare was too much like gaytallica's "garbage can" sound for me.
Anyways, glad you dig, bro. \m/ Thanks for the review!

Chilling - and funky, indeed.

Yeah, this is pretty relaxing. Even though I think it's a tad too repetitive I enjoy the chilling nature of your track.

The recording itself is pretty good, no complains there. Just add a little more variation and maybe some soothing vocals could work wonders here.

Good work.

Good Playin'

Yeah, really faithful to the original. Really like your sludgy, heavy guitar tone and the rather well programmed drum-machine.

I think the vocals sound a tad too weak but I'm sure that can be expanded upon.

Overall, a really good cover of a Classic Death/Grind song.

Gotta love that intro riff :)

Creeping-Dan responds:

Cheers man! Yeh that really is one of the heaviest things ever. Vocals are weak yeah. I held back because i think the vocal lines are the hardest ever.

Interesting

Truly a weird experience. I enjoyed the mixture of industrial riffs and ambience, but the soloing seems quite offkey and doesn't quite fit into the texture of the songs.

Apart from the (quite terrible) drum machine, I enjoyed the blastbeats with heavy riffage and strong electronic presents on top to some extend - not my cup of tea, but I can appreciate the effort.

As Idiosyncratic said, expand on it. I'm sure it will work, but keep the solos out, they don't fit.

Since now, I name you under our cult.
